April 14, 200420 yr comment_77000 It'd be hard to find a new original C110 cap; try the wrecking yards for other Datsuns in good condition, or even somewhere like Autobarn might stock universal items.James Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11251-fuel-filler-cap/#findComment-77000 Share on other sites
April 14, 200420 yr comment_77039 I cant help in either case but out of curiosity are you referring to the lockable opening flap type plastic badge part? OR the physical cap istelf that twists onto the opening? April 14, 200420 yr comment_77128 Razor, Motorsport had them and you could try V B . If the cap it's self is not damaged you can replace the grbber gasket. A new cap is $ 59.95 at Victoria British Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11251-fuel-filler-cap/#findComment-77128 Share on other sites
April 14, 200420 yr Author comment_77129 the actual metal cap inside it...I heard that its a bit tricky cos if you dont get the same pressure effect of the original one the fuel may leak Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11251-fuel-filler-cap/#findComment-77129 Share on other sites

April 15, 200420 yr comment_77193 your going to find that you are about 2 years to late to find 240s in the bone yards with gas caps. You can tighten the set on the gas cap by bending the " contact ears " down just a little . April 15, 200420 yr comment_77241 Heck, I couldn't find 240 gas caps in the bone yards 6 years ago. I ended up buying a brand new one from nissan for $$$45. Now I have a fuel cell so if anybody is looking for a new looking gas cap, let me know.
