Posted April 14, 200420 yr comment_77037 I am removing the bumpers from my 77 Z and would be interested in selling them. Both are in extremely good shape (chrome and all rubber) I have no idea what the value would be..can someone give me an idea, I dont want to make a killing but on the other hand I dont want to give them away either. The center rubber on the front is in excellent condition, all rubber ends are great as well as the front rubber trim on the back of the front bumper..in other words you could take these off my car and immediately install them on another Z77 Z Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11258-bumpers-for-76-78-280/ Share on other sites
April 14, 200420 yr comment_77077 Hi 77 Z.Just a heads-up on the bumper styles. The 74.5-76 Z bumpers are different than the 77-78 style. The 74.5-76 bumpers, both front and rear, have smooth face bars (the large chrome centers) and bumper ends (the rubber end pieces that attach the face bars to the body). The 77-78 style have the indentation across the center of the face bar and have corrugated bumper ends.I thought this needed clarification, just in case someone was not familiar with the differences, to prevent an unwanted surprise in the event they bought the pieces for thier 74.5-76 Z.Good luck on your sale!Wadduya say Tomohawk! Sounds like a nice set for your 78! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11258-bumpers-for-76-78-280/#findComment-77077 Share on other sites
April 14, 200420 yr comment_77083 I;d be interested, the only issue with selling these is the shipping is killer as they are pretty heavy items and I am located in NJ. April 15, 200420 yr Author comment_77185 Very true on the shipping , I am checking with some guys locally as well as there may be a potiential buyer here. In any event if not then maybe we can come up with some way to get them to NJ..I may be in Philly picking up a 78 BMW 635 later in the month that my brother in law is giving me ..so who knows...77 Z Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11258-bumpers-for-76-78-280/#findComment-77185 Share on other sites

April 15, 200420 yr Author comment_77237 OK will let you know what is going on as far as my coming to Philly or not. This will depend on how my brother in law wants to handle my picking up the BMW Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11258-bumpers-for-76-78-280/#findComment-77237 Share on other sites
