looking for wheels ** spacers vs adapters

I have a set of these on my car. They allow me to run wheels with big offsets. And it allowed me to choose a wheel to my liking. I got mine from somewhere else but they are exactly the same as your link.

Been on the car since 2001, very satisfied.

Hi Peter, I run 16 x 7 Konig Monsoon's with 40mm offset. My car is lowered. Tokico struts, not sure about springs. With my spacers there is about a half inch of clearance between the inner sidewall and the suspension. Its not much but that will be fixed when I put on my Eibach setup. I drive this car hard and have never had tire rub except at full steering lock which doesnt happen often.

Good luck!!

I have the tokico springs with illumina struts ( adustable ) set up ** how does this compare w/ the eibach setup that you guys are talking about ? Will 16 x 6.5 be better for clarence from the inner tire to the struts ? thanks again for all your help guys.

I run 205/55 16's with the 16 x 7 rims and still have about 1 1/4" or more of space between the tire/rim and spring in the rear. The front is apart so I can't tell you what the space is there until I put it back together in a couple of days. My wheel/tire height is the smae as when I was running 14" rims. This way I can run larger rims and not effect the speedo. The spring setup won't change since all springs are the same dia.no matter what brand since they all sit in the same perch (unless there are some that expand beyond the top and bottom ring). The struts sit inside the springs and should have no effect at all with the space between wheel/tire and spring.

I'm running the honda spacers on my 78. I purchased the spacers about 3.5 years ago from SkultePerformance. They cost about 200 bucks. I had them made with 40+ offset. The rims are 18x7 and they came off my Acura VTEC. I couldn't sell the rims for what they cost me so I put them on the Z. I have 215/35/18's. I also cut my springs almost 2", The ride is a little rough, but not too bad, Here's my link tell me what you think... http://members.cardomain.com/slozee
