henry,

Did you assemble it after you had it machined? I assume the machine shop oversized the cylinders (.30,.60 over) do you know the specs?

I'm planning on going down to the Z-car show sat night (LA) so 5:30pm is going to be a bit late.

Thanx,

Joe

as you know the imports go by metric measurements, I think it was 50mm oversized which was close to 30 thousands over , crankshaft polished with new standard bearings, Machine

Shop used was Dels Machine shop a very reputable business, being doing business with them for 20 years

taking Hwy 50 east exit off of Zinfandel stay to right, go right go up about a block meet you at shell gas station, I will be there about 5:15 ,5:30 for sure I will be in a black 93 nissan maxima, storage unit is about 2 blocks away from there. I will have motor on engine stand, if i need to i can go get cherry picker. PS you will be surprised to see how good a shape this engine is in.

$1000.00 sounds like a vary good price , all complete. You shouldent have any trouble selling it I don't think . Best of luck . Sorry to hear of the total on your Z . What year Z was the engine in ? I am just wondering as I am installing a '82ZX with SUs in my '73 . Gary

Is this a all stock engine , other that the slight over bore ? I agree , if it is as you say , the rebuilt head alone would be about $500. . If I needed an engine I would be hooking up my trailer. Did you have it in a 240 or was it in the ZX when you had the crash? In the future it would be helpful to have your location listed in your profile. We have members here from all over the world . Best of luck with the sale , and hope you can find another Z. Gary:classic:
