240 Bolt Pattern

I've been reading some of the posts regarding wheel/tire sizes. Before I go shopping for a new set of wheels, can anyone answer these questions:

1. What is the exact bolt configuration on the 1972 240z?

2. Does a larger rim size negatively effect braking?
