Hey. Im 14 years old and me and my dad just got a 280z from our neighbor who moved and was going to throw it in the junker. I dont really know anything about cars but i do know the car needs a lot of work and we are looking for parts cheap. Well just thought id say hi to everyone, i hope i learn a thing or two here.

Welcome to the club! Most original Zs need a lot of work! Many of the members here have been through several cars, and most more than willingly share information, spares, and, when in person, a cold one(well, maybe for your Dad-care for a Grape Nehi?). If you can't find the answers here, you aren't asking the right questions!

If you aren't yet captivated by your Z, you soon will be! Just ask billramsey-another young-maybe not the youngest anymore-member here who has been bitten by the Z big in a big way!

Yeah, welcome to the forum. This is a great place to be if you just got a Z because I when I first got my Z I knew nothing about it, and now with the help of the members here and the most valueble information on the threads I have come to understand these cars more than I ever would have. If I did not stumble upon this site I would have been a lost soul. hehehehhe. Take care and good luck with the car. There are a ton of people here that have parts or will guide you in the right direction to find the parts that you are looking for.

Good luck with your car. You'll find a lot of help here - just be sure to ask before you start. I usually end up asking after I've started and get stuck!
