I saw that one today , I agree awsome job. I checked out the vin number and the engine number and I put it down as late 76 build,

( 12/76 AUS compliance). the back end looks well fabricated for the boot lid.

Looks great! I dont like the boot too much, probly because im used to a hach. looks a really good job. The price is a bit high... I havnt seen one with a rag top for it though.

I've seen this car driving around in Melbourne. The photos really don't do the paintwork any justice.

Sorry guys. Convertible Zs don't impress me. It takes away the uniqueness of the design. Whatever the price is it's too much. I don't care who does the conversion the car was not designed to be a convertible! No matter how fancy it comes out, it's just another hacked up Z.

It's not a bad car, I saw this in person too around my area a few times the paint is very good and the car is ok. I don't mind it being hacked up because it's a 2+2 and their roof line don't impress me all that much.

He wanted more in the vacinity of $11,000 at the time I'm pretty sure.

I'm with sblake01 on this one. just another hacked up Z IMO.

I've always wondered about the structure on the convertable Z's. Since the car is a unibody, doesn't hacking off the roof make the car some what weaker body wise? That convertable kind of looks like a 70's Fiat Spider... sort of.
