What might you have in the way of door panels, seat mechanisms? April 26, 200420 yr comment_78570 We have a 78 280Z that we kept as a parts car until we realized the 77 was in much better shape than 78. Some guy from Orlando is suppose to buy the car. He's going to make it a V-8 rod. If he doesn't come through, anyone who wants to come to New Port Richey Florida (near Tampa) can have the entire car for a $100. It's been sitting behind the body shop for 5 years. The car is rough now but parts are salvagable. If nobody wants it, to the bone yard she goes The car was a show car in the early 80's. I'll try and snap off a few pictures later so you guys can see her. April 26, 200420 yr Author comment_78601 I live in Wisconsin but me and my dad would be willing to drive mostly anywhere in the US to get the car if we wanted it. We are willing to pay any amount as long as its reasonable but we are mostly looking for cheap cars. Zrush could we use those 78 parts on a 77? If so I would be interested. Basically the same car. I will try and get those pictures this week. I know my husband is not going to just take parts off the car, he wants the whole thing gone. It does have the R200 rear end and a 4 speed tranny, spoiler (front & rear), louvers, American Racing Mags. This was a beautiful car at one time.sblake01 could probaly give you more info on the 77-78 interchanges.Vicky Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11437-looking-for-a-77-280z-for-parts/#findComment-78614 Share on other sites

April 27, 200420 yr comment_78654 Sifer - you have a PM...GunnerRobWhat might you have in the way of door panels, seat mechanisms? I'm pretty sure the door panels are not the same for the 76 to 77 models... I found this out the hard way. Found a set of pristine panels off a 76 but the door lock position is in a different (further back) location than the '77 - '78 models.
