I keep coming here to re-visit the show and there is nearly nothing!!! In past years there have been pages within HOURS. A whole day later and we have a half-dozen of Vic's pix. Where--by the way--I learned Whitaker was there and never came and siad hi. Maybe he didn't recognize my new car! I almost won Worst Paint Job. Next year I am wearing a bikini. Speaking of MIA, where was EricB and Jerry (gozracergo)???? Frank13 tracked me down somehow... Did anyone here glean some treasures from my trailer of EVERYTHING FREE?!?! If you did, thanks a million! Should have brought three times that much! Oh, and Vic, I am saving all my aluminum for you. Grist for the mill, you know. I had no idea you were into such things. I've got valve covers, pump block-offs, chain housings, injected intakes, you name it. All yours.

Well BlitzKraig's photos are now up. He was much more prolific than I was. Hint - If you buy batteries for your digital camera, be sure to pack them for the show, as they do no good on your kitchen counter!

Steve, I didn't buy all these polishing arbors, wheels, componds just cause they look good in my shop! Love as much as I can get.

And yes. We need some funny looking hats so we can find eachother at the shows.

Yeah, I agree with you Steve. Where are the photos? Why would your paint win worst paint? Are you talking about your rally stripe Z? It doesn't look bad. I have seen it a few times. On highway one and at the Z's by the bay show. You won that one right?

I am excited to see some more. Hey Vic, your car is looking great these days. I should have said Hi last year when I saw your car.

Well I've just unloaded a healthy dose on the website, but unfortunately for some of you guys, they're mostly S30s. Never really understood the 280zxs and 300zxs appeal.....just a different crowd.

Anyway, next year we need to get together officially within the show. I didn't know who to look for so I was hoping people would find me (since my car is on the homepage). But I noticed that MSA was trying to get club members together at the registration point so maybe if there's enough of us there with cars next year we can get placed together!

My Mouse finger is sore from pressing "Approve". Not just on Craig submittals, The Roadster page got a full dose of Solvang photos as well.

Some of that is my fault. I wasn't able to go to the show this year... I am bummed. But, it just wasn't possible. If anyone has a ton of pictures, send them to me on CD and I'll post them in bulk....

I am planning on going to the national convention...

Well, I guess it is my fault I didn't meet more 240.orgers--or even see ones who knew my car. I BROUGHT A BRAND NEW CAR!!!! One that I haven't posted too many pictures of anywhere (top secret) and MSA was its official unveiling! (yes, that silver/turquoise/blue hulk in my garage--remember 'New Graphics for my Z' thread?--but, thanks to not sleeping for nearly a week, it looked much different at the show) And I was not parked with big Steve and the rest of the Central Valley/Central Coast guys, I was with the West Coast Z Racers. So I guess everybody just walked on by..... That's what I get for not bringing my 'trademark' car. It was very sad for not going, by the way. Still hasn't spoke to me.

I looked for you thoughout the day as well as inquired about where you might be.......nadda!!! Different paint on the Z ehh! No wonder I couldn't find you. And, so how come I never saw you come by my Z and say hi. I spent most of the day chatting with people about Z car mods and such so I was at my car most of the time. They again stuck me way down to the left of MSA however I was closer than last year to the main booth area. I actually told the attendents that I had made plans to park with your group and they just said take a left...........ya right? No Steve, no parking! Anyway I had a great time talking to folks about Z's. As usual there where some super nice rides there.

I can't believe you were there, Tom! You should have e-mailed me and let me know you were coming. Your car is unbelievable and would have fit well with the group I was parked with. No one from CCZCC attended (so I thought), so I parked with the WCZRacer group. I was parked next to CHINO's car. Directly across from the bandstand, next to the PierreZ group. I walked to the end several times, but SO MANY CARS!!!!!

Oh well!!! I guess we can learn from our mistakes....as long as we can remember then!!? It's funny! I was hoping to meet some of the folks we talk to on this site but most of them are only identifiable by there Z car. I saw some of the cars but no owners. Maybe we (those of us on this site) can come up with a hat or T-shirt with are avatar on it, plus it would provide a little PR for this site. What do you think. And thanks for the compliment on the car Steve. I know we must have walked past each other more than once. I was wearing a tan Patagonia ball cap and sun glasses with a t-shirt that said "FULL SCALE HOT RODS"
