Posted March 21, 200223 yr comment_4344 I'm starting to realize what I'm in for with my "new" 77 280. I'm evaluating painting the vehicle, and I'm learning that in order to do it right, I need to take everything off (trim, etc.). Is the following readily available (MSA, Restore Zone,....):- Rubber molding around the front / rear windows- "chrome" trim around wheel wellsWhat else should I be prepared to purchase (I'll be replacing the badges, I know)More questions will immediately follow under new threads... March 22, 200223 yr comment_4348 Most everything you will need you will be able to purchase thru MSA, VB or one of the other Z parts suppliers. However, at times you may find that some items aren't available (weatherstriping, and emblems are just a couple) from time to time. In time you should be able to find everything. Good luck with your project. It may take time to do the job right, but with a little patience you should be able bring your car back to its old glory. March 22, 200223 yr Author comment_4352 Another pending project are the seats. I'd like to install Recaros or Sparcos (sp?), or something similar. Any ideas? March 28, 200223 yr comment_4709 I have a nice set of Recaros installed in my ride. Check it out. I should be getting the Silver Bullet 240Z out of winter sleep soon if the weather cooperates. I will post some photo's of mounting as several have asked me.
