April 29, 200420 yr comment_79057 PrOxLaMuS© you got it under control. Yes, you can. It would me more cost efficient to buy a L28ET. a stock l28et with the computer will run you about $500. You'll spend bookooo's trying to get your L28E Turboed.-Brandon71 240Z Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11502-can-i-turbocharge-my-l28e/#findComment-79057 Share on other sites

April 30, 200420 yr comment_79079 Check your local "u-pullits", ebay, etc. Try to get a whole car- you want to get everything wired or bolted to the engine-and the pieces at the other end of the wires! I bought a complete turbo car off Ebay last year for $351, and sold almost $500 in parts off of it. or go to:www.car-parts.com1982nissan280zxenginew/turbo I found approx 100 L28et s ranging from $850 to $175 If you go this route, you MUST call the yard and see if they have the wiring harness and ecm, or just the engine-most will have only the engine assembly-those pieces that are on the engine side of the manifolds-9 times out of 10 the Turbo is gone! Good luck! Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11502-can-i-turbocharge-my-l28e/#findComment-79079 Share on other sites
April 30, 200420 yr comment_79080 Yeah they are hard to come by these days. I've been to the junkyards a few times this month and all I see is non-turbo 280zx's. A full service salvage yard should have one tho. Expect to pay more however. Otherwise you can cobble together the parts and add them on to your current motor. The only problem there is the fuel management system. That can get pricey.ebaymotors.com be a fanatic Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11502-can-i-turbocharge-my-l28e/#findComment-79080 Share on other sites
