Actually, Kats is right. Both spellings (mustache and moustache) are correct. (Look it up) Now, let's talk about 'spelled' vs 'spelt.':classic:

Hmm interesting. Is "mustache" another one of those Americanisms then??

I'd prefer Kats brought the car to the 2005 Convention in Syracuse so those of us that are "stuck" on the East Coast can meet him and see the car.:devious:

Of course, any one of his friends are welcome to bring along their 432R's as well....

I second the motion! I can't make it to CA, but I could make the East Coast!

[French moustache, from Italian dialectal mustaccio, from Medieval Greek moustakion, from Greek mustax, mustache, upper lip.]

Yeah, I asked Kats if any Japanese owners were going to bring a ZG or 432. He said no. If there was going to be a 432-r I would cry out joy. hehehhe. This fascination of Zcars has become an obsession thanks to 240z.org. I am planning to go to the Z convention and I am very excited to be able to see Kats's car, meet him, and see other beautiful S30 cars. If I see any Fairlady Z's I am going to take extensive pictures, so be ready 2manyZ's.

You've got my vote on that too.

You guys aren't "stuck"!!! I'll be there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday because I bought an airline ticket. Great idea, huh? If you get the urge and want to crash in my room, you might be welcome if you can behave. The Tampa crowd will be well represented, but I still haven't heard what Beck's plans are. Katayama celebrates his 95th Thursday at the track event. We're going to visit Les at Classic Datsun and hit the secret California junk yards. Kats, you can hang with us - we're going to have fun!

The mousetachio bar looks great and I can confrim all kinds of little details like the part number marks throughout the car. One particular area has me puzzled - the back plate of my differential has an area where there was obviously an adhesive label. Does anyone know what that looked like? The back plate has a nice rectangular bare spot in the original black paint.

The difference is in the syllable stress.

MUS-tache and mou-STACHE

You must shave off your MUStache.

That gentleman has a very distinguished mouSTACHE.

When you are in the Care-a-be-an, you have a MUStache.

When you visit the Ca-rib-ean, you sport your mouSTACHE.

Poor Kats.

Alfadog,sblake01,and GunnerRob,Zvoiture,

Thank you very much for the spelling.I have just amended my web page to"mustache".But If I want to do,I will change another spelling that you listed up here.Still not clear about Zvoiture's instruction,I need to study hard...

ChrisA,

Tahnk you for watching my web site,I revised some pages so keep looking at it.I am very happy to make owners proud to have Z's.

Bambikiller240,mdbrandy and 2ManyZs,Ed,

Yes I am going to go to L.A. for the convention. Please see my web's top page, there is my Z at Nissan Honmoku export port.On 7th MAY I drove 8 hours from my home to the port to ship my Z for the L.A. convention.I put hub caps they had never been installed before, this is for the first time to be applied in their 35 years life.

I have to tell all of you,my Z is not great as you think. The photo is always showing better than actual sight. This is true and you know it.I have a lot of things to do,when I arrive at L.A. I will do many things for my Z as much as I can.

I missed my Z,it will take 2 weeks to reach U.S.I hope everything all right, not fall off hub caps and not scrach exterior...

Thank you

kats
