Oh My...

Isn't there some automobile rights organization somewhere that can do something? If that poor ZX was a poodle, the ASPCA would be all over that owner, making sure that he, she, or it could never own an animal again.

I think maybe this car should be on "Blind eye for the ZX guy".

It is the perfect candidate for the new Speedvision reality series, "Smack Jack, the owner of this car!", A show about good intentions and hard work gone horribly wrong. The featured question," What in the hell were you thinkin? " is asked by Samuel L. Jackson. Depending on the answer, Jay Leno, or another celebrity car enthusiast, has a guest spot "interacting" with the cars owner with the garage tool of viewer choice! At the end of the show, the car is properly treated for its abuse, and a suitable, and anxious, enthusiast family is given the title, keys, and a paint job in the color of their choice. The PO has his liscence revoked, and is marked for life by the Insurance Gestapo to make sure he will never legally have a car again. Don't you just love a happy ending? (BIG SIGH!)

dont laugh at the $12000 for a 2+2 260z-

There was one up here in qld advertised in the local (country) paper for $10000-

I gave the guy a call- because i wanted to know what a 10k 260z looked like- and it had already been sold, after 2 weeks

it apparently had only 60000ks on the clock- vgc etc

There is a sweet looking 2+2 for sale on Marmion Street (south of the river). Very dark blue and looks in great condition. I wonder if it is the same one. Hope he sells at that price:D

As for the car that started this thread, for god sake put some wheels on that fit that wide body kit. And that front spoiler is waaayyyyyy too aggressive for my eye.

Wow, I know of a 260z 2+2 with only 20,000ks on the clock, and that only $3000, and i think its overpriced.

Some people dont realise the 2+2 is a different shape to a 2 seater, untill they park their new 2+2, that they just paid a whole lot more that its worth for, next to a 240z.

Na the $12,000 is in mullaloo.

Theres a $6000 one with a V8.

There was a $1100 240z for sale last week. It sold between me calling the guy, and getting home from work.

I'am still not convinced that the 260z 2+2 is such a bad car..

I think if you bought one for $10k and it was mickey mouse, it would be a much better car then other cars around the $10k price area-like a 5 year old lancer/laser/323 or a 10 year old commodore/falcon- Id take the 260z over them without even hesitating.

I currently have both a 240z and a 260z 2+2-- and the 240z does look better- but at the cost of 2 seats and the 2 + 2 still "feels" like a zed.

But the 280zx is different- its a lot too plasic looking, "square" and 1980s styling for my taste-same as early 300zx.
