I could not agree more. Maybe they did the first test midday and the second one in the middle of the night when the are was colder. They didn’t state their testing criteria. I do believe they had a great big Royal Purple add in that issue. That couldn’t have anything to do with the test results? .

I have used Castrol GTX 20/50 in all of my Zs untill a couple of years ago. I had a friend who is an engineer at Gulfstream tell me that Rotella 20/50 has the absolutley best set of additives out there. He backed it up by telling me that they are the same additives That Gulfstream uses and reccommends for use in the Rolls Royce engines that move those $20,000,000 aircraft. He gave me a bunch of facts, and finished up with "and you can buy the gallon containers at Walmart."

With his endorsement, I switched to Rotella(a Shell product).

What's wrong with using Mobil#1??? Haven't you been reading the rest of the posts???? I mean, why do you wear the underpants (or is it panties in your case) you wear...that is if you wear underpants.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. I'm sure Mobil 1 is very good oil. My comment about fools was about people who go way too long between oil changes because they bought expensive oil.
