May 7, 200420 yr comment_80005 I admit knowing next to nothing about turbos but it sure looks like a piece of junk to me. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11604-greddy-s30-turbo-kit-whaaaat/#findComment-80005 Share on other sites
May 7, 200420 yr comment_80012 No, not really a piece of junk. I would however think it would be obsolete now, though.Looks like it's still needs the carbie's at the very least, unless you where contemplating FI. May 7, 200420 yr comment_80018 If you had been heated up red hot then you would probably be burnt as well! Unless it's ceramic coated [or otherwise protected] then any metal oxides after exposure to high temperature. Personally, this is one item I wouldn't buy by auction as you still need the other bit's to finish off the project! [not to mention the if it still works factor]. May 7, 200420 yr comment_80131 Yeah you will get that kickass feeling, when you realise you have been ripped off, you'll want to kick the sellers arse.Anybody else notice that theres a turbo, and an exhaust manifold, and a couple of other bits of junk one looks like a external wast gate, but no intake, plenum chamber or any kind of fuel delivery system. No dump pipe either. Also the way the turbo looks like it mounts on the exhaust manifold, looks like it wont fit in the engine bay.Stick with the factory parts.
