heh, umm, Im currently putting in a L28E into my 260z. I was missing a couple of bits from it so I went and bought a few bits from a 280zx which I didnt have. I have attached a picture of one of the things I picked up, and Im having trouble figuring out what it actually is....any ideas ??

I wouldnt have a clue but looks like the computer. goto your local Automotive bookshop and have a browse in a 280zx Haynes or simmilar workshop manual and see what the hell it is. Free and easy... unless you want to buy the book of course.

Did it come from under the drivers seat, or under the dash? I don't know what it is, but I have a spare one if yours is broke.

I dismantled a lot of the interior of my 280zx to get the wiring harness for the power windows out and came across a few things that looked like that.

To be honest I was actually looking for the ignition module. In my EFI book that I have for the 280z it says I need an ignition module. I cant seem to find where they are on the 280zx. I bought some 280zx parts off a guy and saw that part...I knew I didnt have it so I picked it up.
