May 10, 200420 yr comment_80407 Yes, and why in the world would you spend over $50 on a picture of an engine!? :bandit: I'm going to go take pix of mine tonight and post them up on eBay. :stupid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11627-check-this-one-out/#findComment-80407 Share on other sites
May 10, 200420 yr comment_80423 My message to the seller:So let me get this straight, for 51 dollars you're selling a picture/photo of an engine? Looks from your history you've sold quite a few parts to people... please don't say your conducting a suckers auction And the Sellers response:I am not selling anything for 51.00 people are bidding without reading!!!!! That listing clearly doesnt offer any engines for sale. It advertises my ebay store, and CLEARLY STATES IN RED LETTERS....what is going to be sold to you if you bid. Dont blame me for peoples stupidity...I sure as hell would'nt bid 51.00 for a pictur...JUST LIKE IT SAYS'bout what you'd expect... May 10, 200420 yr comment_80425 His business name "Lackey Performance Engines" suits his "Lackey" merchandiseLOL Some people:stupid: Vicky Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11627-check-this-one-out/#findComment-80425 Share on other sites
May 10, 200420 yr comment_80429 But of course he will not be sending any email to the bidders to clear this up either...he'll just take the money, send the pic and call it a day. Very sad that people have no morals any longer. If it weren't clearly stated in the auction that this is only for a pic I'd feel bad for the person who wins, but in this case not...they should have read and if it was still unclear send an email before bidding. *shrug* Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11627-check-this-one-out/#findComment-80429 Share on other sites
May 10, 200420 yr comment_80433 Just make sure to file away this business in your memory, and refuse to give him any business under any conditions. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11627-check-this-one-out/#findComment-80433 Share on other sites
May 10, 200420 yr comment_80435 So I figure, what the hell. I emailed both bidders and asked them if they knew they were bidding on a PICTURE of an engine. Wonder if either one will read their mail before the auction ends. I'm gonna watch this auction and see how high it goes or if they retract their bids. I noticed the bidding went from $10 to $51 in only 2 bids. Simply unbelievable.:stupid: :stupid: Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/11627-check-this-one-out/#findComment-80435 Share on other sites
