I have a problem that I having some serious trouble solving.i have a 260z ,1975 year model , i have put in a msd 6al ignition and a master blaster coil three , it is a point distributor .problem is how do i get my tahco meter to work ?can any body give me a wiring diagram for this or one for the actual tahco meter.or just please tell me how to go about this problem. in the back of the tacho, there is a one black one green and one green_white wire that is in a coil loop.please help!!!!!!!!!

Det gar bra med bilen .

fortfarande mycket kvar men det gar framat

. det finns ett satt for allt det dar med tachon maste ga att koppla pa natt satt .

jag har fixat all annan el med bilen sjalv och det fungerar perfekt . annars har jag fixat mycket med motorn sa den gar bra nu . jag har fatt det mesta att fungera pa bilen .

sa nu ska jag forhoppnings vis borja svetsa i morgon .

men som sagt ge mig ditt nr tel nr .

The problem still remains .

I need a wire diagram on the 260 Z tacho 1975.

.As I study it I have to bypass some resistor in it to trigger it . but Im not sure about any of this so please help me how to hook it up.

as I wrote before . I running a 6 AL MSD and a masterblaster coil 3 , and points distributor.

Yeah im having the same, issue, i believe the only way to do it is replace the internal coil in the tacho with one from a 280ZX, or place a new one in there.

Very disapointing to read that someone has the same problem, only to have it answered in swedish......

English anyone? please!

Well if someone have or could get the correct digram for the tacho It would be alot easier to figure it out ..

Iread some artical thru this site about someone changing the tacho wiring and got it working ,but i need more info or a diagram of what he actually did.the solution is out there somewhere , i just hope it comes to me. zafer.

I think I saw an artickel at zhome covering this problem, and that you only need to cut an resistor in the tacho.

Check out www.zhome.com under Z technical library, index og technical articles and then under ignition systems ;-)

That should do it - in english ;-)
