Razor Posted May 13, 2004 Share #1 Posted May 13, 2004 How come there's not much of us 240K guys postingwhere's everyone gone? well anywayYesterday I started my car and lifted the bonnet and I heard pinging noise, sounds like when you shake a can of spray paint.I think i can hear the noise stronger just under the rocker cover.I just only heard this noise yesterdayI use unleaded and sometimes LRPbut I dont use this car that much.... dattozed Posted May 13, 2004 Share #2 Posted May 13, 2004 Valve chatter.Usually you dont experience pinging (detonation) unless the car is warm and under load.
