If you even add some kind of duct, you'd get a kind of 'ram-air' huh?how easy would it be to put a round hole in the (middle) of the radiator core?BTW, thanks for all the info. May 18, 200420 yr comment_81581 A good radiator shop could modify the radiator, but you would probably need some sort of bearing to support the longer propeler shaft. Also might want to put some universal joints on it to keep it lower so it wouldn't hit the hood. May 18, 200420 yr comment_81590 You'll have to remove the fan shroud first. Drain the coolant and reomove the upper and lower radiator hoses. Remove the splash pan from underneath. Remove the three screws that hold the two halves of the fan shroud together. Remove the lower half from underneath. Remove the screws that hold the upper half and remove it. I use a deep 10mm socket on a 1/4" drive ratchet to remove the four bolts from the fan. Remove the four nuts from the fan clutch. When re assembling, if you put the retaining clips that hold the screws on the bottom half of the fan shroud, you can screw the two halves together from the top and next time you wont have to get underneath the car or drain the coolant to remove the fan and clutch. May 18, 200420 yr comment_81595 Good thing you replied i didn't realise it was so much work to remove the shroud none of my Z's have had one unless you count the thermo fan 260z i owned.I think they didn't come on the early 240z's but i might be wrong.
