Good fun

:stupid: :stupid:

Had some good fun today.

Now, my "She Who Must Be OBEYED' and I have been touring the southern states for the past three months, leaving my poor little "Precious" all alone and feeling unloved in the dark garage.

Talk about bitchy females !!. She,(Precious), got back at me for deserting her for three months.

AS the battery was a bit low, I charged it up prior to connecting the leads, and as I walked around the rear end, gave her an affectionate pat on the bum, clinbed into the seat and turned the key.

Boy was she cantankerous !!

She wound the battery down almost to it's final grunt without so much as a kick regardless of my fiddling and diddling around in the engine bay so, the battery goes back on the charger again.

The battery is recharged.

I reconnect the leads.

I tell her what a beautiful little beast she is as I tenderly turn the key.

Round and round the starter motor goes and STILL nuthin'.

Mumbling a string of obsenities so she couldn't hear me I decided on a desperate course of action.

I disconnected the fuel line after the filter and sucked like mad.

Yep, you guessed it, the bitchy little bugger spat out a mouthfull of fuel on the first suck.

You ever tried to reconnect a fuel line while your eyes are watering, your nose and throat are burning and you're finding it hard to breathe ??????????? No ??? TRY IT !!!

When I finally stopped gasping for breath I downed a litre of orange juice to help get the taste out of my mouth before I was game to light up a fag to help calm the nerves.

I decided to give it another go.

Would you believe it ???????

The little bugger started first kick. She must have figured I'd paid a high enough price for my crimes.

One thing really has me worried.

Three weeks from now I'll be going away for another fortnight.

:ermm: :ermm:

Rick.

I have found that if you sleep in the car the night before a trip, she isn't quite so cantankerous when you return. I resently left fot several days to persue another "Z", and did that just that before I left Upon my return, I took a thorough shower so she couldn't smell the leather or carpet from the other car, made sure there was no lubricant left on me, and gave her a bubble bath followed by a wax. She was very happy with me, and actually ran better than before I left!

BTW there is a shot of a thigh from the other "Z"being posted in my gallery(blue), why do I feel cheep and taudry?:finger: :finger: :finger:

Umm..., Rick... I might caution you against lighting up after sucking down a bit of fuel... It's not so much the fire, but rather the heat that'll get ya... :stupid: :stupid:

Just needed to be said.

Yeah usually about 3 months is the time it takes for the fuel to go all the way back to the tank LOL. Kinda like at McDonalds when u suck on the straw and see the coke come up to your mouth and then it slowly goes down only no coke. ROFL

Fortnight should be fine my garage queen thinks so anyway. But she sometimes gets in a foul mood and cokes up the spark plugs while on the topic of coke hehe.

That's why i am gonna be rebuilding the carbs for her soon. I think she will enjoy that. LOL

Yair Gavin,

Even though "Precious" can be a typically bloody hard to get along with female, I still   her.

She was born with a damn sunroof, which I have grown to absolutely HATE

I intend to have a word with the bloke who did a first class job on the rust discovered when the windscreen came out, to get an idea on the feasability and cost of removing the sunroof (Which will give me a bit more headroom).

Do you think that will get me back in her good books ????

Rick.

Now, now Stokesy, fess up mate.

You were just feeling a deep sense of guilt after being unfaithful.

Are you certain that she's not just a little suspicious after all that TLC.

Man, I just have to ask: How do you light up a fag? Don't anybody get too nasty here. I know there must be a benign explanation.LOL

I think she was just being polite: she had gas but just wouldn't let it go.
