Stinken theives strike again.

When I was in graduate school, I raised a litter of St. Bernard puppies. At 12 weeks they were as cute as could be, but they were about the size of German Shepherds and they were teething!! They spent their nights in my garage and managed to eat the tail light and a turn signal off a motorcycle I was using as my main transportation, so I decided to wire it to a fence charger. I put chicken wire under the bike and used that for a ground. I then hooked the hot wire to the frame. It worked like a dream and the puppies never touched the bike again. Unfortunately, in a hurry to get to school one morning I forgot about my handiwork and just jumped on the bike. You'd be amazed how conductive a vinyl seat can be. I think this design could save the military a fortune on ejection seats. Live and learn.ROFL ROFL

that kind of thing can happen to any of us.

In my neighborhood where you can "leave your car unlocked" I wonder what might happen to my Zed after I get the GTO body with flashy red paint on there. Not to mention the knock-off wheels (eventually), the interior is scheduled to have some custom aluminum door panels, & the carpet will get mods for the vinyl hump cover, shifter boot, maybe others.

You hear about things happening, during the summer, when kids are out of school & looking for stuff to do...

Bill- how about a chainmail car cover?

They would figure out away to get it off. My redneck unle used to work night shift. His house got robbed once a month for about eight monthes. He would nail the door shut and they would take a pry bar to get tthe nails out.

Kids around here dont care about anythang. We built a fence last year and they cut the wire. We live on 20 acres good for atvs and bikes. they come mess stuff up every year. now they get to play with some noisy dogs. Dont know whitch one i hate more the theives or the barking all night LOL.

Glad you got your stuff back!

Just 2 hours ago, I was woken up by a burgular looking through drawers downstairs..... I caught him as he came upstairs, and he was nice enough not to cause too much trouble. Didn't get away with anything, but now I know security doors aren't so secure...

That's my burgular story!!!

Hey Bill, did you get the engine number? If it was original and the plate is still on the inside of the passenger side of the engine compartment, that might go a long way in catching the rapscallions that took it-btw-how do es a person miss an engine getting pulled?

Will

PS-still waiting for the ducky ducky story from that sale!
