Hey Carl, I stand corrected. Had his location said " Toowomba, AU" I would've understood the location, and converted AU dollars to US to realize that he's asking around 6000 USD for the car. I'm also aware that AU had 260Z until 78, and they never got fuel injected models 280z model like US until the ZX line up.

Auxilary (Alex) is installing a Mazda Rotary engine in his Z car. He lives near you in the Fremont area. Met him at the HybridZ Meet in Rio Vista back in April of this year.

I see. Alex, I have seen your car in person before when I was at the 2003 Z's by the bay show. The black 240 with the aggressive stance, shaved bumpers, and MR2 seats(?). Now you are going to go rotary. Your car will be pretty wild. Is it going to be turbo charged? What kind of power is it going to make? I guess your car will be a lot lighter with the smaller engine. yeah, that's the one - black Z w/ mr2 seats. You can see the snail in the upper left hand corner with masking tape on it. I'm looking at about 350 crank hp or so, with more when the motor needs to be rebuilt in a couple of years. The mazda block as you see it in that pic weighs around 200 lbs + 100lbs for the transmission. Stock Z block by itself is about 500, if memory serves

Ask me when my car's running (2 months tops), because I don't know if I'll have room for a spare. And if I can't carry it in the car, it's useless, and it's yours

I think Oz is the only place in the world where you'll find a city with a wacky name like "Toowoomba"

That sounds great Alex! I am not in a rush to get a set of steel wheels, but if I find a deal, then I will go after them. Just tell me when and if you don't need that spare any more and I would be glad to take it off your hands.
