A bit off-topic, but I thought some might be interested.

Here are some (silly) guys with a series 5 FC RX7, with an engine they obviously dont need anymore. They want to see how long the 13B powerplant will last at full-throttle with no rev limiter (ie 9000rpm).

Anyway, don't download it unless you've got a fast connection, the file is about 27 MB and not exactly exciting!!

Few things in life are ideal and no one ever said that this swap or any other was "ideal". Most if not all engine swaps involve compromises of one form or another

PS it isn't so hard that it isn't feasible to put the car on a scale and calulate how much weight is needed and where to put it in order to balance the weight distribution.

and as for purpose, well we never even got into what was the pupose of this swap, someone seems to have "supposed" that they knew what the pupose of the swap project was, without it even being mentioned.

ok then,

then a rotory in an s30 isnt as ideal for most purposes compared to alternate engines (eg circuit and drag racing, day to day driving etc) not necessarily the discussed project.

Personally I think that any engine in a z is ok if its someone elses car. it keeps them on the road and out of the crushers. as for me I'll leave the rotary in the seven and the L in the Z where they belong. both are beautiful by themselves but putting them together would be like buying an el camino.
