Posted May 31, 200420 yr comment_83482 Hi All, Has anyone bought the Carpet Kit from AllZ parts in Sydney. The guy described it a "2 x floor carpet and sill, and cargo area".It's $235 which is pretty good, but too much to throw away it's not real flash. Also, any one got any suggestion where to get new diff mounts for a reasonable price? Thanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12001-all-z-carpet-kit/ Share on other sites
May 31, 200420 yr comment_83504 If I remember correctly, the front diff mount in my car is a genuine nissan part that I got through All Z with a bunch of other bits and pieces. Was around $90 I think. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12001-all-z-carpet-kit/#findComment-83504 Share on other sites

June 2, 200420 yr comment_83670 240znz, here is the information you requested. Highly recomend you use a phone or a fax not email.from my past experience, Warren is a great bloke and he will bend over backwards to help, but his weapon of choice is not computer based email. June 14, 200420 yr comment_85019 Yair, Steve's right,Warren is rather slow at reading and answering Emails however, he WILL answer. Eventually.Practicly everything I've needed has come from Warren. From brakes and shockies to switches, door handles, console and dash mat and everything in between. And it was all done via Email. He's always rendered me good service at a fair price and I have no reservations in recomending him.Rick. June 14, 200420 yr comment_85090 Yeah so does anyone know about the carpet kit? Cause i'm interested too cause my Z i'm fixing is stripped and the carpet is gone. Also anyone know approx how much it would cost to get the whole lot done by an apholsterer? June 14, 200420 yr comment_85092 Probably not cheap from an upholsterer. I spoke to the guy up here in kelso about doing the boot and strut towers in my zed, and he was talking around the $500 mark.If you want, you can have whatever carpet is left in my parts zed. I just had a quick look and it appears all the passenger side is there, but some of the drivers side is missing. Come and have a look on the weekend and take it if you want it. June 15, 200420 yr comment_85156 Sorry MickieB, but the carpet kit is one of the few things I bought elsewhere so I can't vouch for what Warren supplies. The dash mat's O.K. though.Rick. I'm going to be ready to buy one soonish so wanna start checking prices. Also what else will warren do for interior parts? (Eg, inside of the door, Plastic over the rear wheel housing etc) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12001-all-z-carpet-kit/#findComment-94149 Share on other sites
September 7, 200420 yr comment_94152 Mickie: I have the motorsport auto and victoria british catalogs and price lists (a few years old) here which I am happy to lend ya. They'll give you an idea of what parts are still available and the ballpark prices. September 8, 200420 yr comment_94263 Probably not cheap from an upholsterer. I spoke to the guy up here in kelso about doing the boot and strut towers in my zed, and he was talking around the $500 mark.I beg to differ: I had all of my carpets replaced at the same time my new seat covers were fitted. The total cost which included cutting, overlocking and underlay and new luggage straps was AU$280. This did not include the cost of the new seat covers or (the hard part) finding black loop pile carpet...the carpet itself only cost $55. So shop around your upholsterors...and in the meantime I'll shamelessly show off my new carpets (here's the old stuff) http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11865&sort=1&cat=500&page=1And now the new: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11866&sort=1&cat=500&page=1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12001-all-z-carpet-kit/#findComment-94263 Share on other sites
