240z and 1974 260z 2+2 chassis differances

Hi all

I have recently got a 260z 2+2 1974 model which is quite different in the chassis to the later 2+2 cars. I noticed that the chassis rails ar very short and look like the same length as the 240z. does anyone know if datsun used the front and front section of the floors on the 2+2.

When I get a chance I will mesure it up and compare just thought it was interesting that the rails were so short?
