Posted June 4, 200420 yr comment_84018 i have dual webers (dgv) and my throttle is sticking. all of the plastic ball joints are worn out, and the previous owner has them held together with safety wire. is this the same linkage used on the SU carbs or is it weber- specific? i would like to buy this new. what are some good temporary fixes for the sticking problem? June 4, 200420 yr comment_84028 Parts of the linkage may be original, but not all of it.You should be able to find replacement parts or possibly a complete new linkage kit for the dual Webers here:http://www.twminduction.com/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12068-throttle-sticking/#findComment-84028 Share on other sites

June 4, 200420 yr comment_84041 Actually, Pierce Manifold is the one I meant to paste....:stupid: :cross-eye Their linkage kits aren't cheap, so don't get sticker shock if it's not what you hoped to spend. June 16, 200420 yr Author comment_85378 i saw how the choke mechanism has a spring on it, so i decided to put a spring on the throttle linkage too. works well enough for now until i can find time to fix it.
