jayz240z Posted June 6, 2004 Share #1 Posted June 6, 2004 Hey, does anyone know any more about this car?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2481216006&category=6187&sspagename=WDVWAny guesses on how high it'll go for?Jason
zhead240 Posted June 6, 2004 Share #2 Posted June 6, 2004 pics can be deceptive., but this z looks like a 8 out of 10.( one and a half year old paint can hide rust.)if i'm buying i think fair price should be about $7000.if i'm selling i'd want $9000. should sell somewhere inbetween IMO
jayz240z Posted June 6, 2004 Author Share #3 Posted June 6, 2004 Currently I'm the high bidder, but I really don't think I'm going any higher on it. I've allready got a nice 240, though mine has way more than 58,000 on it. If I pick it up at the current price, great. We'll see I expect it to go more towards 10,000.Jason
v12horse Posted June 6, 2004 Share #4 Posted June 6, 2004 I saw that on ebay last night and I thought it looked great. Hmmm, you are probably right about it going to sell around the 7-10k mark. With just little fixing this could be a stunning car, not that it isn't one already. The only issue I have with buying vintage cars online is that you see the big picture, but you don't see the finer details, like, how good of a paint job did they do? Is there paint on the weather stripping? Is the chrome in good shape, or is there pitting? How does it drive (key point)? JayZ, has the seller sent you high resolution detailed photos of the car? I think it is a great looking car, but I am a little deceived as I love the 920 gold, but I have never actually seen a Zed in this particular color in person. Take care and good luck,Ben
gscottyp Posted June 14, 2004 Share #5 Posted June 14, 2004 If you were following the auction, the last bid didn't meet my reserve of $9,000. I've given the high bidder a second chance offer to purchase for $8,500. The bidder has 24 hours to decide, then it's up for grabs for $8,500 obo. Adding some detail shots to the gallery. Let me know if I can answer any questions. Thanks, Scott
sahunt66 Posted June 14, 2004 Share #6 Posted June 14, 2004 So, that color is "920 Gold". That's my favorite Z color but I didn't know what to call it. Wow, very nice car.
