Engine bay painted heat resistant black Transmission Rebuilt by Parker's Transmission 3 weeks ago, 91 World Class T-5 out of a camaro z28. Car is painted black primer and there is no rust, the body is perfect and ready for the overcoat color of your choice. An overcoat only paint job runs around 3-400 bucks. The interior is tan colored with very newly reupholstered suede seats. There is an aftermarket plastic dash cover that looks original and is in perfect condition, the carpets are in very good condition as well. The car has a custom driveline and There is a temporary exhaust setup (chevy downpipe bolted to datsun exhaust) that will need to be changed at some point to add some power. The current power of this car is comparable to a newer mustang GT but after the exhaust I expect that it should be a bit faster. The car is registered till the end of 2004 and currently located in Sacramento, Ca. I have a large folder of receipts for everything I have done that can optionally come with the car. What the car needs to be "complete" Better Exhaust Overcoat of Paint Chevy to Datsun Speedometer linkage (although i do have the JTR speedo cable) Stereo (I have removed the datsun unit while i had the dash out) a better Radiator Something to better hold in the battery Clean up my wiring (i'm no electrician but the car and accessories work)

ashokn225 Posted June 22, 2004 Share #3 Posted June 22, 2004 HeyIm very interested in this car. Cant decide whether I want a roller and swap in a V8 or just buy a V8 Z and completely fix up the rest of it to show condition. Can you tell me details on the suspension, brakes, drivetrain, and how much power this engine puts out?If you dont want to post this information, send it to socceran1@yahoo.com ThanksAshok
businessguy01 Posted June 29, 2004 Share #4 Posted June 29, 2004 I am very interested, if your Z is still for sale. A few questions: 1. Is this an automatic or manual tranny? - 4 or 5 speed? 2. Did you resolve the radiator problem? IS it a 3 or 4 core and what is the fan set-up - clutch-driven or electric fan and how many fans does it have. 3. Do you think that an A/C system can be installed? (I live in Phoenix) 4. What else does the car need to be reliable? 5. AZ has emissions test requirements - can this car pass a standing emissions test? Thanks. jfrankel@medaire.com
