I don't mean to insult anyone, but if there is a 240z out there that is in less than perfect condition but runs decent, that someone is willing to part with, I would love to take it off your hands.

I love the Datsun 240 series and I have been trying to get my hands on one but I am a college student and too poor.

Thanks for your time.

EDIT: I live in Iowa, and I'm willing to drive/fly anywhere in the US to get the car is there is one.

Tip: if it's only the body style you love about these you may find it less expensive (and easier to find) if you get yourself a 280Z. The body is the same, the interior is a little different, the engine is a tad bit larger (2.4 vs. 2.8) and the 280Z is fuel injected which should mean less hassle on those cold mornings when you're running late to class and your carbed engine just doesn't want to turn over.

Now on the other hand, if you want a 240Z because it was the first, they are lighter, etc then best us luck to you...they are out there but can be tough to find a good one for your situation...again, they are out there just keep looking. :classic: Welcome to the club too!!

Thanks for the tip, but I am looking for a 240z, Non-Series I, I wouldn't want to ruin a Series I since im not too good at body work yet... (Taking some classes now though, really want to restore a Z)

I used to Own a '76 280z but i was a moron and sold it....it was in damn good condition too, baby blue *sigh*

I really like the 240z's overall style better than the 260z and 280z, they are extremely close but the bumpers and the tail lights really set off the 240zs to me... the fact that they are lighter is a true plus though.

I've been doing a lot of reading, buying a few books, and trying to decide exactly what i want to do to the car... (going to make many years and lots of money, LOL)

Thanks for your time everyone.

EDIT: Also, thank you lee for the website info. That 77 looks good but I have my heart set on a 240z, THANKS THOUGH!
