i have a nissan fairlady z "registred as a fairlady 2 (two)",

been told it is a 260z

has g-nose front

is 2+2

But

i looked at the plate in the engine bay and had following details,

C-GS31

1998 cc

2605 mm

L20

GS31-004811

reading around a s30 is a 240z / 260z

so what is mine ? ?

It's a Japanese Domestic Market car. Its a Fairlady Z (the fact that it is registered as a fairlady 2 means that the person that entered it into the registration system couldn't read properly).

It's neither a 240z or a 260z. Its has a 2 liter engine. If you want to compare it to another model, its closer to a 260z, as the 240z never came out in a 4 seater body.

So does your car have fender mount mirrors? Are they electic, and does it have electric windows also?

These were options on the CGS31.

Your car would be called a Fairlady Z 2/2. The "G" in your vin# means that it is a 2/2. The S31 is the later version of the S30 starting in 74-78. Correct me if I am wrong anyone. Post some pictures of your car, we would love to see them.

dose not have side mirrors, i looking for some, i dont like the fender look though.
