Posted June 18, 200420 yr comment_85618 I've seen gear ratios from 2:56 up to 6:50 in a racing supply catalog. Can someone explain what the ratio is? Like for example, 4:11, does that mean for every 4 rotations, another gear, spline, etc. turns 11 times? If this question has been answered before I'm sorry, I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything:ermm: Vicky Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12256-gear-ratio-explanation/ Share on other sites
