panchovisa Posted June 21, 2004 Share #13 Posted June 21, 2004 A good Z driven at 10 tenths will hang with a Ferrari/Cobra/Vette/whatever being p**** footed at 5 tenths.Just because the Ferrari (without a doubt) CAN leave a Z in it's dust doesn't mean the driver of acknowledged supercar has the HUEVOS (eggs) to use what is available! They don't call Ferrari's penis extenders for nothing (if you don't got it at least pretend). Because you made alot of money in stocks/basketball/real estate/internet doesn't mean you can drive! Hi David: True, but nobody in their right mind brags about beating Billy Joel in a auto race, or Geo Bush in a spelling bee. Jaynez31 tallked almost exclusively about the CAR, barely mentioned the wanker driving it. Eggs = Cojones = *alls
panchovisa Posted June 21, 2004 Share #15 Posted June 21, 2004 But Carl, the Ferrari wasn't driving itself.Obviously the Ferrari driver is better at collecting silicone breasts than down shifting.Same road, same traffic. All the Ferrari driver had to do was use 15 seconds of the cars ultimate performance and janez31 would have no story (except a 575 left me for dead!) Fifteen seconds of TALENT! Bambikiller240 Posted June 21, 2004 Share #16 Posted June 21, 2004 He should have bragged on his driving skill then, not comparing his Z to the Ferrari. To paraphrase the famous line in "Fast & Furious": "Winning is winning, by a second or a mile." Also we don't know the traffic or road conditions. Could have been too twisty to USE the Ferrari power and prowess, or too dangerous. Nobody get me wrong, Ferrari has it's share of wankers, just like Porsches, and Honda's, and (sadly) Z's; but the "story" is really an non-event as written. Or.....put ME in the Ferrari and see how the story gets told! :cheeky: "Man, I left this wanna-be driver in a Z eating my DUST!"
panchovisa Posted June 21, 2004 Share #17 Posted June 21, 2004 Carl, I once beat G.W. in a spelling test. The winning word was "Texens" (people from Texas). Just wanted to prove your point that I'm not right in the head.

As for your victory in the spelling bee, well, I think 90% of Americans over the age of 3 could "win" against that opposition. Not exactly an exclusive club. BUT, I bet you could build a mean Z ( and "he" can't spell THAT either!).
Fun_in_my_z Posted June 21, 2004 Share #19 Posted June 21, 2004 ROFL . Put that ferrari on a tight twisty course where handleing matters over speed. Then Bing Him On!:devious: Not saying i would win ...most likely i wouldnt.:classic: But i never can resist a challenge:devious:
jaynez31 Posted June 21, 2004 Author Share #20 Posted June 21, 2004 Hey this is my point too, when exit of the tight corner, the Ferreri acceralate up to 80-100 miles per hour, I could not catch up, of course. Within 3-10 second or so, next hair pin curve, then the Ferrari had to reduce the speed to 40-50 miles per hour. During the corners, by the time, I was tail gating the 575 each corners, and sound like I asked him to get more faster, I could go faster comftably driving each corner/hair-pin curve without hesitation or fear(due to 2-2.5 drop with suspention mods etc). How my 240z handle the tight corner/hair pin curve just like the 575. Indeed there is no comparson 0-400(575 may does 12 sec) 0-60(4.25 sec). My 240z 0-400 (15sec-16sec) and 0-60 (8-10 sec). 3800lb vs 2600lb, this weitgh may contributed (my z is lighter) which I was able to drive the hair-pin curves/tight corners. http://www.ferrariclub.com/album/clubcars.html just like my 240z, I am from japan too, what's heck... panchovisa Posted June 22, 2004 Share #21 Posted June 22, 2004 Carl, it would be "Texans" (thought for sure someone would catch it). Oh, and it was against G.W. Anderson. And I was just trying to take credit (I also beat B. Jowel in go-karts).Guys, you should check jaynesz31 profile to prove that it's not just excess testostorone talking. Bambikiller240 Posted June 22, 2004 Share #22 Posted June 22, 2004 Yes, I understood the intentional spelling error. As for Testosterone, well with a name like Jayne, any test. is excess IN MY BOOK. ( if the person is in fact female, I can use any name on the internet)
