I've decided The new wheels are needed. Just tired of the 14X5.5 old school american wheels and looking for the the following

Stlye

Forged Quality

Light

Vintage look

Soi far the choices are

SSR MKII

SSR MKIII

Dio you think the Red Centers will go with my Lime green car?

Or

Volk Racing TE37

Victor, the Mark 3. The Mark two looks slightly odd with half the number of bolts, and the Volk doesn't have the vintage look you wanted.

Since the Mark 3 wheel disassembles you can chose any color for center (an anthracite gray might look stunning) so don't make a choice based on red centers. Try a photo chop of your choices (with color choice) on photo of your car.

Also the spun aluminum rim halves could be anodized in color.

Sorry Victor, but IMO they aren't that nice compared to Panasports, especially considering the price of the SSR's......:cross-eye

We all know how Pana's look on a Z, and they are a bit cheaper to boot.

FWIW, with your car's color, I think a neutral color like silver, gunmetal, or somewhere in between is gonna look the best.

Of course, if you don't spend a pile of money on wheels, you could always try powder coating the centers until you find the right shade or color to suit the car. :ermm:

Keith, I like Panas, I really do. But what do you see at a Datsun Show? 1/3 of the cars in Pana's. Know what I mean? That's why I bought the Revo's for the Roadster. Couldn't stand to be "Just another Roadster in Pana's". It's nice to know there are alternatives. And compared to the SSR's and the Volks, Pana's are boat anchors. True, The Wats would be about the same, but they're Wats, so a little leeway is warrented.
