Hey Carl,

This is totally off the subject, but your new avatar is funny as s_ _t!!! Is this a Pleasanton Olympic Event? So what's the prefered meal before an event? LOLLOLLOL ......just having a little fun with you. If you use your imagination, you can imagine you are viewing practice of this event through a pair of night vision goggles. :smoke:

Rick,

I think you have mis-understood what I meant by Radiator Support.

It's not the sides of the radiator, rather the underside. If you don't have a spoiler or similar then a phot of precious head on would indicate if it's a 240/260 shell.

The 260 is much lower, ie closer to the ground than a 240.

Unfortunately, if you don't have both cars to compare than it's difficult top pick.

I try and get a photo of mine side by side for comparision.

MOM

Carl and Steve,

The frame rails under "Precious" end about two feet from the end of the floor pan.

Should I LOL and ROFL with uncontrolled joy ???????????

Does this mean that "Precious" is even MORE precious ??????

Thanks for your help Mom. I'm not sure if any of the photos I've posted of "Precious" in the Gallery are suitable or not.

Rick.

Hi Rick:

If the rails end about 2 feet before the end of the floorpan, then you have what we in the states would call an Early 260Z (one built on the 240Z chassis, rather than the 280Z chassis). I don't know if it makes your car more precious to other folks, but IMHO it would be more desirable, but then I'm a 240Z guy.
