How can I post photos here? I can add a link but how would I attach a photo?

You can "attach" a picture file to your post like ChrisA mentioned.

To actually post picture files to your (or any) Gallery, you click on the "Gallery" tab at the top of the Home page, which will take you to a nother page. From there you click "upload photos" which is just below the TABS on the upper right. That gets you to the page where you can actually do the upload.
