Posted July 8, 200420 yr comment_87892 This is an early reminder for all 'downunder' Z owners that the 2005 Z Car Nationals are to be held on the Easter weekend of March 25, 26 & 27 at Goulburn, NSW. We are planning a great weekend with Registration on the Firday afternoon/evening, Concours to be held on Saturday in the town centre and a track day at the nearby Wakefield Park circuit on the Sunday followed by a presentation night and dinner back in town. http://www.wakefieldpark.com/site/frameset.cfmFurther information will be sent out as we finalise arrangements or check our web site. http://www.zcarclub.com.au/. Accommodation has already been earmarked for the weekend through Goulburn Tourism. http://www.igoulburn.com/Don't forget to mark it on the calender for next year. July 9, 200420 yr comment_88006 There are a few of us that I know of from the Q Z Car club that are going, I for one am looking forward to it, particularly to having a go around Wakefield Park. We would like to know asap the classes/classifications and whether or not a CAMS licence is required, preferably not. July 9, 200420 yr Author comment_88080 Richard,We are working on the classes/classifications at the present time and should be able to get back to you in the not too distant future. As well we are clarifying whether people will need a CAMS licence or probably just a Wakefield licence which will be available on the day or at Registration on the Friday (approx. $30-35) valid for a year.Geoff Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12535-2005-z-nationals-nsw/#findComment-88080 Share on other sites
July 10, 200420 yr comment_88097 If Wakefield Park is a member of the AAA or whatever it is called now then a CAMS licence should not be required. Quite a few of us have allowed our CAMS licences to lapse and instead have AAA licences for QR's sprint series. There are very limited CAMS sprint events in Q, not surprising. BTW we are looking forward to meeting our interstate friends again, both on and off the track.
