Uni Joints

Can someone please tell me where to get replacement Uni-joints for a '72 240z apart from the Z shops or Nissan.

Try Repco.

Mind you there are some that are supposed to be better than others. Someone else can probably fill you in on that.

cheap ones break under higher power and wear out quicker.

If you are running a high power motor you can't rely on the cheapies but if you want to just get your stock 260z new ones then cheapies are fine.

Apart from Z shops and Nissan you can try a couple of places in America like motorsport auto.

Warren Skimmings was telling me that in racing circles, they were/are always after the 'star' from the original uni joints as they are the strongest. It would make sence with them being solid and the currently available ones having a hollow core for greasing purposes.

I think he recommended the spicers uni joints.....I might be wrong. The one he ended up selling me was Federal (I think!).
