Hi all,

I just wanted to let you know that I'll be working on the server over the weekend. The site will be up and down and I'll be attempting to restore some of the cool areas of the site. Don't worry, I'll try to bring it down only when it's absolutely necessary.

Just thought I'd let all of you know before I get on it.

Mike,

I tried to re upload my 'new' avitar but there was no button???

FAQ:

How do I get a picture under my username?

These small images are called Avatars. They are displayed below your username on all posts that you make. There are two kinds of avatars: those provided by the administrator and those that you upload yourself.

If the administrator has provided a set of avatars, and avatars are enabled, you may select an avatar that best describes your personality.

The administrator may also have enabled custom avatars, which allows you to upload an avatar image from your computer.

Hey... go to the User CP and select "Edit Avatar"... scroll to the bottom and you should see a block (under all the stock avatars) where you can upload your own. The block should be titled "Custom Avatar" and have a "Browse" button....

Let me know if it's not present.

"Custom Avatar" and "Browse" buttons are not present.

Also, there is no place to alter the description of the member (Stephen Blakeney uses "Datsunologist", I use "Senior Member", etc. Many people are now shown as "Registered User".

Your're right Carl, I just logged in as a regular user and noticed this. It must be an admin-only option at this point. I'm going to see if I can change an option ....

Mike, Thanks for making all this possible. You do what you gotta do and we will all still be here. Proud to call this home-sweet-home. Keep up the awsome work. This has become one of the finest sites around! Craig

Thanks for the compliments, Craig!! :D

Old thread, but I'm kinda new to the site. Just cruising around to check out the various features & I have to say this is the best club site I've ever seen. I know a little about site upkeep, and I really think you have done an amazing job. Thank You!
