Well, as most of you can see, our site has been improved! Instead of fixing the small issues with a 'hard to find' bug, I decided to bring the site up to date with the latest and greatest features.

This task was a BIG one for me because not only did I upgrade the site, I upgraded our server. The new server software has a system management console and the learning curve was quite steep.

Now that we are functional (mostly), the system will be even easier to administer using the new console tools. This is all admin junk and most of you won't see it.

The site has a LOT of new features. You should enjoy most of them. It should also be easier to understand and all of our old data (links, downloads, etc) is still in tact. This was a MAJOR undertaking on my part. Luckily I know how to program databases.... it came in handy during this round.

Anyway, take a look around the site. I'm sure you'll enjoy what you see. If you find bugs, please either reply to this thread or add a new thread in the 'website development and bugs' forum....

For people reporting viewing trouble, I'd suggest, to help Mike out, that you report what operating system and browser you're using. From my web programming experience, different browsers often show things differently.

From my perspective, it all looks fine both on a Windows XP box with Internet Explorer 6.0, and on SuSE Linux using Mozilla 1.7. Your mileage may vary .

Hey great to be able to post again. I was outof town when this stuff started.

The only problem i have is it wont let me come onto the site through the web. I have to access it through email. Loike when it emails me that a post got replyed to.

Anyways great to see that its back up. Great work Mike, go crack some more

I'm happy to be home.....

I'm running windows XP with IE6.0 and Mozilla 1.7.

My problem is if I try and go to the main site (by clicking on the club logo at the top of page) I get a massage to log in. No matter how many time I type my password I still get the same message. same things happens in Mozilla.

I got to the home page once since the site was open. That is the very first time I came back, I could see the home page. Now when I get a reload in page.

I'm able to still surf the site through the forms and e-mail

My fix is back.............argh that feels nice.

I was lost....I even found myself in the dark places of zhome and zcar. Thank you Mike.

Now being serious, I'll have a sqwizz and let you know if I have any probs.

it looks great, I wil check it out this week as I'm on holiday but I haven't been able to get on the site since you started until now, today ! Bit disappointed 'cos I missed all the chat !

I was just about ready to cancel my ISP service......... the rest of the net is just about worthless..... except for that stuff my wife is always hollering at me for downloading.
