Hi all,

I'm planning to add most of the old features back to our site, but, it would be helpful to know what you liked the most. Here's a subset of the features I'll be putting back soon:

1) Image Gallery

2) Random Image Viewer

3) Our "Mascots" on the Main Page

4) Images in the News Area

5) Re-Designed Graphic Theme (old site looked like a MacOS)

6) Upcoming Events in Main Center Block

7) Tabs for Quick Navigation

Etc.... :bunny:

ANY IDEALS WHAT I AM DOING WRONT

Do you mean DOWNload or UPload. DOWNLOAD is from the site "to" your computer. UPLOAD is "from" your computer to the site.

It sounds like you are trying to UPload a picture that is too large of a file size. What is the file size of the pic (in Kb (Kilo-Bytes)?

Hey, can you try an upload again? I just made some changes to how the uploads function and am hoping it fixes this issue.

Have found that the problems with the front page can be modified as follows:

As the page loads a horizontal scroll bar will appear, click on the space to the right and it will force the placement of the Poll and Who's On to the right past the right hand edge of the center column. This is the first time I've been able to see the "Go to Last Post" button, or the More... at the bottom of the Active Threads box. This is consistent on ALL the pages.

A funny secondary effect on this is that ALL the message postings, are "bumped" DOWN the page, until they are below the LH columns.

Please Mike, can we address this? I'm thinking that the right hand columns are given a location at the LH side of the right hand margin on the viewer. With that, the RH columns end up over-writing the RH side of the center column. Can the setting be made to "LOCK" the location of the RH columns to the RH side of the viewing area? That way, you could at least scroll to the right and see what is being blocked right now.

Also, in the PM's, is it possible to add the Message Character Count back? That really helped in making sure the message didn't get rejected.

Adding back the link to check the charector count would be great!

Also, any chance the max # of charectors (1500) for a PM could be increased (say to 2500 or so)? In my experience it is not uncommon to receive Two PM's, or needing to send Two PM's if discussing a complicated Z issue with a fellow member.

Enrique, what happens if you wait for the main page to load completely.... and then you click REFRESH? Does it fix the problems?

-- Mike

No change. In fact, that's how I discovered it. I clicked refresh and noticed the horizontal bar, clicked on it and discovered the shift of the RH columns. If I refresh I MUST click the horizontal scroll bar again, or it reverts to an overlap position.

Mind you Mike, the LH columns also overlap the center column by a bit.
