$1000 or best offer. Chassis has 260k actual miles. Beautiful Red Exterior in very good shape. Interior is in decent shape. Im pretty sure all original interior is included. Manual tranny. Clutch isn't functioning. 2.6 liter inline 6 cylinder engine with hitachi carbs. Engine does not run, but turns over. There is rocker damage, so engine will have to be rebuilt/replaced. Includes original 240z steel wheels/hubcaps. The body is in really good shape. Once the engine is fixed/replaced, basically road ready in excellent shape. Previous owner provided me with over $5000 in receipts, including botched engine rebuild, rebuilt tranny, shocks, exhaust, brakes, and lots more. Please email for more info.

Vehicle Description

1974 Datsun 260Z. I purchased this car last summer to play around with. I have 4 classic Z cars, and wanted to fix at least one or two up, and possibly use the others for parts. I have run out of time and energy for such a project, and feel bad keeping these cars from someone who might drive them. This car is in ok shape. It has a body in excellent shape, but engine needs to be rebuilt/replaced. The interior is in pretty good shape, especially the back seat. Exterior: Paint is in great shape, in beautiful red. See pics. No rust to speak of.

Interior: Decent shape. Ask for specifics

Tires: ok shape

Drivetrain: Engine does not run, but turns over. Carbs seem in good shape, original hitachis. Tranny seems to shift fine. Clutch doesnt operate. Prob no fluid. Sunspension seems very good. Apparently were new in 2000, but I haven't had it on the road. The car isn't driveable, but towed ok. Thats all I know.

I can deliver this car to the East Coast. If I am delivering, I'll expect the arranged delivery cost, plus a $200 nonrefundable deposit before I get on the road. Paypal is fine for this, but add 3% credit card handling fee. $50 documentation fee upon completion of sale. Remainder of the payment due in full upon delivery and transfer of title.
