Where would you like to drive in your Zed?

Personally, I was thinking of something like:

Drive around the perimiter of Ohio (Targa Ohio!)

then:

  • US-1 down the east coat to Miami
  • Rte-66 to L.A.
  • Pacific coast Highway to Seattle
  • across to Montana where my bro lives
  • Through Chicago back to Ohio

Correct me id my old map needs updating

I'd love to cruise the PCH. I'm going to do that next year when we bring the Z back to MSA for display  Maybe we could get a group of Z's cruising together along that beautiful stretch of highway.

Autobahn anyone?????

Beyond that, up and down Rt. 1 again (just went to Maine...in a VOLVO), down some mountains with no traffic around, through NYC (god I had fun driving there), and in a high-speed pursuit with some of my very lazy county cops.

Retrace the North American test route they took to Canada and back in 1969.

Chris, this would be awesome. I would absolutely love to do this. I would also like to gather a group of Zers and drive across the states and attempt to see a bunch of sites. Mt. Rushmore, Cadillac ranch, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Sedona Arizona, the Montana "AutoBaun" (not so much an Autobaun any more), New York City, and so many many more places.

I would really like to send my Z to Japan one day. Take her back to where she came from and drive around Nikko, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and other places in Japan. (I took an Asian history class and it was really interesting. Plus, everyone that I know that has been to Japan loves it there and I made some friends at the Z convention from Japan.)

Guus and Co. trip sounded awesome too.

So many places to drive, but so little time.

Ben

Where do I like to drive my Z??? On pavement of course.........but seriously, I reside in SoCal, Ventura County. I love this area! Ventura County has some pretty nice back roads with good backtop, plenty of corners to be carved, not much traffic, and not too many CHP's (don't forget to take the radar detector anyway). Typically, Saturday mornings and or Sunday afternoons seem to scratch my itch. I have my designated routes for play time but on occation I like to take runs up the coast past Santa Barbara and usually further. The farther north you go, the better it gets! Have you ever noticed that you always seem to get stuck behind all the slowest drivers in the world when you're out in your Z car? I wonder what that's all about.........I wonder!!? Now if only there were a few more Z's in my local area, to do a little spirited driving as a group, it could result in a heck of a good time! But as Symon says LOLLOLLOL it doesn't realy matter as long as you are driving your Z!!! When asked by my friends about the experience of driving my Z, I always tell them....."It's so much fun to drive, it should be considered illegal!" (Well, I quess alot of the times it is!!!) Just gotta love these cars.
