I think the Z has influenced alot of cars through the years. This is just one. Can we have some serious critiques/comments for once

OK, here's my serious comment...........No similarity at all. Crossfire is more reminiscient of American cars of the 40's. I see nothing at all about it that reminds me of a 240Z (or any Z)

Crossfire is something new and different out of the GM parts bins-sort of like a Fierro revisited! A new skin, some new interior pieces, and a modified chassis, everything else taken from existing models-looking that way, it really doesn't sound too new and different...

The Z was something new and different A few parts were shared, but until later in life, most were not. New drivetrain, new body, new chassis, new suspension, new brakes, new glass, new interior, looking that way, it still looks like it was new and different...
