Also you could probably find out the VIN#s of the BPE .... ZHome would probably have something like that ... paint code stickers can be bought new .. so if you were going to buy it you would probably want to check some other way first aswell

I don't think a list of Black Pearl Edition cars exists. And even if it did - where would the data be collected from? If you mean you could find out what VIN prefix the Black Pearl Edition cars had, and simply compare VIN's, unfortunately the Black Pearl Edition cars carried the SAME prefix. That's why it's so hard to be sure.

guys guys guys, please dont attack me for saying this, but to the average person, black pearl edition means nothing. its like seeing those "limited edition" emblems on chemy luminas. sorry again but black doesnt even look good on a z. i dont think trying to prove that its an original pearl edition car would do anything to up the value unless the person who is buying it is a real enthusiast like the majority of you guys.

Well that is probably who is going to buy it, its worth more than your average 280Z because of what it is .... and no its not like limited ed. on a chevy or what ever cause there actually were a limited amount made. If you don't like black on a zed then i wouldn't buy a black pearl.... that would be like buying the BRE 240Z car and respraying it ???? well not quite that bad :P

Well, i decided selling it would be a retarted idea, i have been looking around for some original PB decals, but i cant find any, when i get a hold of my dads Digital camera, ill take pictures of the code and where the decal hasnt been totally taken off. The only reason i was thinking about it was that if i do any mods its not really a Black Pearl, oh well. (oh, and that whole fuel delivery thing, it was due to the fact that it had been sitting in a field for so long, so the lines, tank and injectors are being cleaned out)
