Hi all,

I made a change to the front page by removing the "Latest Forum Activity" from the bottom of the page. This information is available if you click 'Latest 100 Posts' from the left menu, or you can also use "Today's Posts" from the upper left or even "New Posts" from the top menu bar.

Hope this isn't too much to handle.... But, if there are enough people who want to keep it on the main page, I'll put it back. Just let me know by reply to this message.

By the way, I also got the front page gallery photos going again.

Actualy, I like it there too, but Keith (2ManyZs) was asking for that area which also has a log in box to be deleted. I just wanted to suggest keeping the PM notification on the Home page somewhere.

I think he was just asking for the login box to be removed since it is redundant (another one pops up up on the top right). So, nothing there when you aren't logged in, but when you are logged in the PM Details are still there.

Whatever. As I said, I was just wanting to voice a request for the PM notification link to remain on the home page. If you note, "part" of the PM notification appears in the left column LogIn box, but not the link itself.

Big problem that I forsee is that the front page is becoming similar to a dog's breakfast.

I noticed the home page reloads automatically every few minutes. Everyone else too? Or is it my browser.

Happens to everyone. This began when the SHOUT box was added. Gotta be careful not to take too long composing a "shout" or your text gets wiped out when the refresh ocurs.
