Posted August 7, 200420 yr comment_90194 Hey Guys,I was looking to hear from you guys regarding your experiences about a company known as "Chrome 2 Go" and whether or not if anyone knows if they are still in business or what.On June 13th (via EBAY) I bought a chromed valve cover for my 240Z and here it is Aug 7 and I still have not received it. Six times I sent emails requesting status on my order and after the 3rd request Dennis Hill contacted me and said that he would follow up on it but I still have heard anything. I have left numerous phone messages and still no feedback.Does anyone have any clue as to what's going on there?ThanksMax Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12785-chrome2go/ Share on other sites

If you're sick of no response, I'd talk to eBay and they'll probably threaten account termination, etc. Legal action IS possible. Negative feedback will kill him (people take it verrrry seriously), and if you used PayPal, they have a bit of protection as well. August 8, 200420 yr comment_90196 Never heard of the company or eBay seller. I'd contact eBay. Stop payment if possible. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12785-chrome2go/#findComment-90196 Share on other sites

August 10, 200420 yr Author comment_90459 Thanks to all you guys for your feedback.I checked with PayPal today but they won't do much to help unless you file a claim within 30 days after the purchase. I was trying to settle this myself since PayPal and Ebay encourage you to do that first. And it is now going on 60 days by now.I sort of didn't go through Ebay for this transaction. I did participate in the auction but lost. Within a couple days I received an email from Dennis Hill at Chrome2Go offering me the part since the other buyer didn't pay up. So I just sent a payment to him via PayPal. My mistake. What's that old saying, "Buyer beware".thanks againMax Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12785-chrome2go/#findComment-90459 Share on other sites
