Posted August 8, 200420 yr comment_90280 After driving for months with a big hole where the heater control panel goes I spent most of the afternoon trying to get a brand new panel installed. This ended up being more difficult than expected as the restored dash makes the vinyl a bit thicker and I didn't want to crack the $135 piece of plastic by trying to force it. In addition to the dash I've got new carpet and insulation.Take a look here:http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11942&sort=1&cat=500&page=1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12796-finally-completely-interior/ Share on other sites

August 8, 200420 yr comment_90283 Wow, cool, looks great! Original colour too, but the dash reminds me of dead pig skin for some reason... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/12796-finally-completely-interior/#findComment-90283 Share on other sites

August 10, 200420 yr comment_90577 Did Alfadog say "dead pig skin" I've got dead cow skin in mine. As I said before, it looks very nice. I think we're just not used to any color other than black for our dashes. The 77 has a gray dash and it took some getting used to. Very well done Mike!
