Is This For Real?

Considering im not evan old enough to vote it realy doesnt concern me who gets it. As long as they dont make us look more dumb then we already do.

Bush is a moron but maby if Clinton hadnt of messed everything up then maby we would be better off. :

I'm already sorry that I've been sucked into this debate, but Bill you should care who gets elected. King George II and his ilk have been batting around the idea of the draft and if memory serves me right, you're getting close to draft age. We'd rather see you at home driving around in your Z than slogging thru the desert. Not to say that Kerry has voiced much of a plan for getting us out of Iraq, but G.W. didn't even have a plan for what to do there after he declared victory and the end of hostilities aboard the U.S.S. Lincoln. At least he got a chance to make up for some of the flying time he didn't log in the Air National Guard when he pulled his Amelia Eerhart trick in Alabama. What's good for Halliburton may be good for our d*** of a Vice-president, but ain't necessarily good for America.

I'll take America during the Clinton years over now any day. So Clinton got some oral  gratification. Lucky guy. Funny how the Bushies are blaming the bad economy on Clinton and the good economy when Bubba was in office on Reagan. They leave poor King George I out of the equation all together.

As long as there is no name calling, or personal threats, and a modicum of respect afforded to all, I see no reason that discussions like the above should not be allowed to exist (separate forum?) here. Those that don't wish to partisipate should simply choose to not read the posts, & avoid the thread like most of us do the ZX (or "Boob") threads. It should not be expected that every thread is going to please you (or me, or Bill, or Phred, or Will, or Stephen). Pick and Choose.

Ahhh, the right to choose, what a concept!

I agree not only wholeheartedly, but CHALLENGE anyone to refute this.

As we used to say in the Air Force:

" I value your right to your opinion, and have pledged to defend that value to my death. That, however, does not mean that I must agree with your opinion, nor does it give you the right to impose it upon me."

Ahhhhh, if only it were so easy.....

Let the molotov pitching begin.....

Enrique

What is wrong with you people?????

I see little value in being a member of a website dedicated to Classic Zeds when there are posts full of USA political discussion. Has this site turned into a soap box all of sudden????

Yes, I have the right as we all do to choose what we watch or read. I can simply turn off or stop being a member of this site if I choose. However, I am a member here because I feel I can add some value to the knowledge base of what we are here for in the first place.

Can we all focus on Zeds?????

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. (breathing slowly know).

Choose the threads you are interested in reading/viewing. IGNORE the rest!

Want to add value to the knowledge base, PLEASE do so. If you deem another thread as beneath your dignity, or of no interest to you, PLEASE avoid it, and let those who have an interest partisipate. There is no need to foist your opinion of what is of value, to the exclusion of something another member wishes to have a chat about. Live and let live.

There are over 90,000 threads to choose from, surely the existance of a handful that are of no interest to you isn't too great a burden for you to tolerate and still remain a member?

There are "Australia", "240K", "UK", "Europe", "USA- Central, Eastern, and Western" forums that may have little interest to some people, should they be removed or not allowed and only a "New Zealand" forum be allowed?

Intolerance is an insidious disease.

What is going on here? I start a thread about a pathetic 240Z ad on eBay a few days ago and I check back to see what the response is and I can't believe my eyes...... one of the most pathetic political debates I have ever seen on the Internet!! I agree with a couple of the level-headed members that have chimed in on this thread....this is a Zcar enthusiast web site, not some political debate forum. I don't care if you guys want to have a political debate, just do it in the general chit-chat section not here!

Now, back to this thread.. As Ed mentioned, someone actually bid on this (non-pictured, but the one shown is real close!) Z. Did they not read the ad close enough or maybe they contacted the seller and went and took a look at the car in person? Or maybe they have a VW Bug full of trading cards that they plan on buying the Z with!!

Doesn't seem like many people are interested in "discussing" the lame ad. Learning of it's existance, and chuckling over it for a while seems to have satisfied the interest most people have about it. What more is there to discuss about the ad?

PS This post is NOT meant in anyway to validate the fact that the "political" discussion took over the thread. I apologize for my part in that. It should have been split off to it's own thread once it got started.
