Some nice stuff on Yahoo at the moment isnt there!

Thanks for sharing! Pity is, I've already got the dash fascia, and Skyline rear quarter badges :) Missing those darned GT badges though. It wouldn't be such a problem, but the GT-R "GT" badges were actually red. Yellow was the 2000GT-X, blue was 2000-GT and the rarest of all - green - was from the 2000GTX-E. If I remember right...

If you're after some side "Skyline" badges, the ones from the C210 are ALMOST identical to the C110 ones. And you can find C210's everywhere (relatively). In fact, there are a set of the Skyline badges (and a spare!) on ebay at the moment:

See if you can spot the difference ;)

Edit: What's a Vidiot????

 Guilty LOL

That wasnt the first use of that Line. I remember it from Blazing Saddles.

Vidiot Went under a few different names UHF it was called in america.

It was Badgers in that movie:

The line was first used in a movie in 1948 - The Treasure of the Sierra Madre:

and changed over time to become the shorter version.

even The Monkees used it

It's amazing the pointless crap you can look up on the net! :pirate:

g72s20,

trust it, it won't load on my pc, asks for some sort of ID.. a friend has a japanese yahoo id so i will get him to look at it.

Thanks for the heads up!!

oh.. and yeah i got dibbs on those badges on aust ebay :D well atleast i hope i do!

Yahoo Japan only needs your user ID to view an auction AFTER it's ended. The dash fascia went for 11500 yen. That's about $145. I stole the picture from the auction and attached it here in case you wanted to know what it looked like :)

I think it would have been a good buy - it looks to be in near-perfect condition.

Of course, a common thing the Japanese did was take the faux woodgrain panel off, and spray-paint it silver. Doesn't look exactly right, but good enough from a distance.

The set of badges (also attached) went for 3700 yen. That's about $46. They were missing a few pins on the back though...

Finally, the spoiler went for 4200 yen, which is about $53. Definitely second-hand, but for the price sounds like a bargain! Unfortunately for us, it's the shipping which kills...
